 The Role

 You will have responsibility for a central services engineering team that works in collaboration with our field based professional services teams worldwide. You will lead a team of engineers, technical consultants, data analysts and domain experts to provide data migration, conversion, system configuration, integration and business intelligence services within our implementation project framework.

The Global Services Engineering function will serve as a hub for service repeatability and quality and play a critical role in the predictable onboarding and activation of our customers on the AMCS Platform. This is a senior role on our global Professional Services management team.

 Your responsibilities

·  Manage the activities of a multidisciplinary team providing system configuration, data migration, system integrations and BI services to our Global Customers.

·  Ensure on-time completion of support services while ensuring the quality delivery of all deliverables and services with best practice engineering techniques.

·  Manage and develop the team including consultants, vendors and remote workers, in different time zones. This will involve responsibility for selection, mentoring, coaching, teambuilding, performance management including reward and recognition.

·  Ensure the availability and development of the capacity and capability needed to meet current and future project, service and customer demand.

·  Close collaboration with Product Management, Software Development and the DevOps teams to ensure Best Practice in the delivery of the AMCS solution.

·  Partner with worldwide services leaders to understand their technology and services assets and help identify opportunities for re-use.

·  Knowledge management – harvesting, proliferation of best practices.

 Your background and experience

·  Proven experience in the scaling and management of engineering resources within a SaaS software company.

·  Experience within a global company – the ability to work within a global and distributed organization

·  Experience with delivering high-end, complex software implementations that address core business operations and processes (e.g. ERP, Accounting, Fleet Management and Transportation)

·  Experience leading high performing teams.

·  Thorough knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
